Do I Need a Quantity Surveyor?
My clients generally employ me as a Freelance Quantity Surveyor for the following reasons:
• The company requires a construction estimating service.
• They have won a project or projects, but do not want to commit to an ongoing full time Quantity Surveyor.
• A current member of their team has a long term illness.
• The company’s turnover has increased, but they do not want to commit to a fixed employee overhead cost.
• A member of their team is going on holiday.
• The company is reducing fixed costs and overheads.
• The pre-construction / estimating team are temporarily overloaded, pricing a lot of new work and need additional support.
• Current team members do not have the required experience in certain projects.
