Supply Chain Solution

This is where I can offer a solution to suit your business’s needs. I can offer a short term solution to solve an immediate problem. Or a long term solution on a part time basis.

I can assist with tenders, or it may be that your business needs a QS to undertake monthly valuations for issue to your clients / main contractors. Keep on top of a variation account to ensure all entitlement is recovered. Production of loss and expense claims / prolongation claims. Contractual advice. Cost and Value Reconciliations to ensure there are no unwanted surprises!

Main Contractor Solution

As a main contractor you may have the need for a Quantity Surveyor / Commercial Manager to oversee a project or number of projects. I have extensive experience both running and overseeing projects upto £100m from the pre-construction phase all the way through to completion and post contract phases, I could seamlessly join your organisation wherever the need arises. Having experience overseeing junior teams or working in isolation on a project, any requirement can be met.

In relation to tenders I also offer a Bill Of Quantities production service, which may be of interest to your busy Estimating department.

Client/Developer Solution

Having served clients through being a main contractor for more than twenty years, I can offer you a refreshing perspective when undertaking your project. I pride myself on being able to communicate in a down to earth way, so whether you are fully proficient in construction acronyms or new to the industry, I will provide an open and unbiased honest approach.

Measurement

Whether you require a full Bill of Quantities or measurement of a single package or element of works, this can be accommodated.

Undertaking Interim Valuations to ensure correct entitlement is received monthly to keep your companies cash flow where it should be.

Forecast Final Accounts from Day 1 on a project will ensure no surprises are given to your clients, and will also enable a swift resolution to the closure of the final account, avoiding protracted final account negotiation.

Production of Monthly Cost and Value Reconciliations and / or Cost to Complete are key to the success of any project.

Whether your procurement need is that of a suitable main contractor through to procurement of materials, we have the expertise to assist in this matter.

Variations

Compilation of Variations / Compensation Event build ups, including substantiation to enable your clients to approve additional expenditure with confidence they are receiving value for money.

Claims

Unfortunately some times claims are unavoidable, whether this is in relation to an Extension of Time / Prolongation, your works have been disrupted or your client wishes you to accelerate the works etc. We can offer advice and assist in this process, hopefully avoiding the need for a formal dispute resolution process.
