Role: As Project Surveyor and then following promotion to Surveying Manger I lead the projects commercial team for Wates Interiors, undertaking the 100,000 Sq Ft fit out of the 2 storey offices for Sony BMG and Simon Cowells SYCO Offices on Derry Street in Kensington. The fit out was a fantastic project to be involved with, albeit the procurement was a real challenge, as Morey Smith Architects had specified companies and products I had had not previous dealings with. The end result though was an amazing space, blending traditional Crittal Windows as glazed partitions and 300 year old reclaimed timber flooring with the most modern of finishes.

Fun Fact: For those X-Factor Fans out there, you may have seen Simon Cowell’s office once or twice on the programme! Or when Piers Morgan was pranked on Saturday Night Takeaway by Simon Cowell!
