Role: I lead the projects commercial team for Willmott Dixon as Senior Project Surveyor, undertaking the 9 storey refurbishment of the Cockcroft Building in Brighton. 

The project was won through a JCT Traditional two stage contract. This was a £23m project over 19 phases, 9 floors and 13 different areas.

The project was to create inspirational modern working spaces for the students of today and tomorrow. Works included creating lecture theatres, teaching spaces and administration areas, along with a floor of laboratories.  We also installed an ATES system to provide a “green” heat source for the building. And also undertook full replacement of over 800 windows. All works were completed whilst the building remained in use.
